Loving you was like feeling the heat on a warm summer day. It was like everything in my body told me that you were the one, That your soul and my soul belonged together. The sadness returned. The tears stream down my face again. And I thought I was done thinking like this, but I guess … I guess I never really stopped. When you’re sick, you go to the doctors, and they tell you they can patch you up. They send you home with the hopes that you’ll heal. But they don’t know that this isn’t a scratch, No bandage can fix this wound. The pain and sadness are always there, It never truly left. It lingers waiting for its chance to latch onto you again. My Bio

Hello, I am 31 years old. I have an interest in writing. I have been writing for as long as I can remember. I didn't start writing poems until I was 13 or 14 years old. I went through a lot when I was 13 that had a huge impact on my life. Writing poems was my way out. It gave me the voice I never knew I had, and the voice that didn't want to speak to others.

I hope to inspire others to pursue their dreams, and to let them know that they are not alone in this world. I have been through a lot in my life, and I hope that by sharing what I have experienced that I help someone else who needs it, and didn't have anyone there for them. If you ever need someone to talk to I am here for you, and there are others in this world who love, and support you, and will be there for you when you need them.
